Methionine - the "M" in MIC

Vitamin B12 – Cyanocobalamin/Hydroxocobalamin/Methylcobalamin are different forms of vitamin B12

• An essential micronutrient that affects the health of red blood cells and nerve cells.
• Cyanocobalamin is the least expensive form of B12 injection because it is relatively easy to make. It has to be converted into methylcobalamin in the body to be active.
• Hydroxocobalamin also must be converted in the body but is a longer-acting form of B12.
• Methylcobalamin, the most bioactive type of B12, is already in the form required by the body. It is more expensive to manufacture and therefore more costly but some prefer it as the most “natural” form of B12.
